Engineer (m/f/d) Driver Assistance Systems (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

This position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment.

For the European Headquarter in Cologne, we are looking for you as an Engineer (m/f/d) Driver Assistance Systems.

Your tasks

• Coordination of interface requirements for ADAS functions at the vehicle level
• Project management, tracking, and reporting for driver assistance features in accordance with internal specifications and requirements
• Development and specification of test methods for design verification tests both at the vehicle and CAE level as well as on the test bench
• Creation of the corresponding specifications as well as regular exchange with suppliers and manufacturers
• Responsibility for the management of internal projects, program tools, and processes

Our requirements

• A completed degree, preferably in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, alternatively an adequate qualification
• Sound knowledge of active safety and driver assistance systems as well as E/E systems
• Experience in the application of cameras, radar systems, and ultrasonic sensors as well as Vehicle CAN and Rapid Prototyping tools (CANalyzer, Canape, dSpace)
• Fluent command of the English language and confident use of MS-Office programs
• Good teamwork and communication skills, paired with a solution-oriented, committed way of working and strong technical understanding
