Your tasks... Technical responsibility and feasibility assessment

• Main contact person for technical topics between Design (Styling) and Engineering
• Translation of technical requirements, boundary conditions, and restrictions into understandable design specifications
• Development of innovative and competitive solutions within the supervised modules and projects
• Creation of technical specifications as well as design briefings
• Evaluation and securing of the technical feasibility of design proposals
• Active questioning and optimization of design concepts with regard to implementability, quality, and economic efficiency

Engineering and project integration

• Control of the technical interface between Design, Engineering, customers, and suppliers
• Interpretation and communication of technical specifications as well as change management in the development process
• Coordination and alignment of technical solutions in interdisciplinary project teams
• Representation of the specialist department in project groups, reviews, and technical coordination rounds
• Participation in EBI and EBE committees as well as taking on binding technical commitments after coordination

Our requirements...

• Successfully completed technical training (HTL, FH, TU) with a focus on Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology, Telematics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification
• Relevant, several years of professional experience in the field of function and property development or experience in the component development of a mechatronic component
• Experience in leading a project team as well as management experience is an advantage
• Openness to new topics and challenges
• Interest in cross-departmental project control
• Analytical thinking skills as well as an independent and structured way of working
• Understanding of networked, mechatronic functions at the complete vehicle level
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in a multidisciplinary project team
• High level of commitment and creativity as well as teamwork skills
• Excellent English skills in spoken and written form

Minimum salary From EUR 4,360.00 gross / month (on a full-time basis). There is an explicit willingness to overpay depending on qualification and professional experience!
