Audit Team Lead/ Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage statutory and non-statutory audit engagements from planning to completion. Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit files for compliance with IFRS and ISA. Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members. Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide practical recommendations. Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings effectively. Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, documentation, and billing. Support business development, proposals, and client onboarding. Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and firm standards.

Requirements:

5+ years of progressive audit experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory/team lead capacity. ICAN qualification is mandatory. Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Nigerian tax laws. Experience managing multiple client engagements across different sectors. Proficiency in CaseWare and accounting/audit software. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and client management skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Remuneration: NGN 600,000 – 650,000 Monthly
