PLANNER CONTAINER TRANSPORT

For our client, active in the transport sector, we are looking for a Planner Container Transport in the Sint-Niklaas region.

The function

• Together with your colleagues, the optimal planning of the daily transport orders for the container fleet
• For our customers, you will search for specific logistical solutions adapted to their needs.
• You maintain good contact with the drivers, pass on their orders to them, and ensure personal and connecting communication.
• You are part of a team and together you ensure smooth administrative handling.
• You have relevant experience of at least 5 years as a transport planner and possess both technical and executive planning knowledge.
• Knowledge of port operations in Antwerpen, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam is a plus.
• You are proactive and driver-oriented.
• You possess communication skills and are people-oriented.
• You are discreet, efficient, accurate and eager for responsibility.
• You can also work autonomously, are analytical and result-oriented.
• You have an eye for quality and safety.
• You possess a good knowledge of the Franse and Engelse language.
• The rotating shift schedule with your colleague is from 06.00u to 14.00u and from 10.30u to 18.30u, break included.
