Facilities Technician

Your tasks

We are looking for a hands-on Facilities Technician to maintain our factory facilities, equipment and building premises in a food manufacturing environment.

• Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of factory facilities and building premises.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, plumbing, lighting and general maintenance issues.
• Maintain building facilities, including air-conditioning, ventilation, water supply and drainage systems.
• Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry and general handyman duties when required.
• Assist with maintenance of cold rooms and related facilities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for servicing, repairs and maintenance work.
• Ensure factory premises, facilities and equipment are maintained in safe and good working condition.
• Attend to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain basic maintenance records and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other facilities and maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or related disciplines preferred.
• Relevant experience in factory, industrial building or facilities maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning and general building maintenance.
• Able to perform hands-on troubleshooting and minor repair works independently.
• Experience in food manufacturing or cold room facilities maintenance is an advantage.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to undertake various maintenance duties.
