Hygiene Officer

Responsibilities: Cleaning & Sanitation: Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, common areas, and surrounding premises. Perform daily cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Ensure workspaces remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day. Clean windows, furniture, fixtures, and other office facilities as required.

Waste Management & Hygiene Supplies: Collect and dispose of waste appropriately in designated disposal areas. Monitor and replenish hygiene supplies such as soap, tissue paper, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials. Ensure hygiene facilities remain fully stocked and functional at all times. Maintain proper storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Facility Support: Conduct routine inspections to identify cleanliness or maintenance concerns. Report faults such as leaks, damaged fittings, or other facility issues promptly. Support basic facility upkeep and assist with assigned errands when required. Handle and maintain cleaning equipment responsibly to ensure proper functionality. Health, Safety & Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately. Maintain a safe, hazard-free working environment. Support the organization's commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements Minimum of  SSCE  or equivalent qualification. Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility support is an added advantage. Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Understanding of workplace hygiene and safety practices.
