Assistant Designer/ Merchandiser

Manage production orders and merchandising enquiries

Liaise with our factories in China and other countries

Carry out development in accordance to buyer’s specification and requirement.

Follow up on sample review, comments and ensure accordance to specification.

To handle garment bulk order and monitor production progress with factories.

Manage production processes, time & action calendar, delivery scheduling in production of apparel/ accessories

Garment workmanship and detailed translations when needed

Assist in other ad-hoc duties where required

Job requirements:

Diploma in Fashion merchandising or equivalent

1 year's of working experience in the garment industry preferred but candidates without experience are welcome to apply

Proficient in CAD/ Design Software, Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook, Illustrator or Photoshop.

Written and verbal proficiency in English and Chinese for communicating with factories in China.

Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

Mature, meticulous and able to multi–task
