Head of Purchasing and Cooperation

Main pillars of the job position

• Strategic purchasing: Creation of purchasing strategy, ensuring the purchase of sheets and metallurgical materials, market analysis, negotiation of best prices and contractual terms with key suppliers.
• Management of cooperations: Ensuring external production, subcontracting, and services that the company does not produce internally (outsourcing).
• Optimization and development: Searching for new suppliers, evaluating their reliability (audits), and continuous improvement of logistical flows.
• Team leadership: Managing a team of buyers and coordinating purchasing with other departments (production, quality, finance).

Requirements for the position

• Education: Secondary/Higher education (ideally in an economic or technical field).
• Languages: Advanced knowledge of English (for the international market), knowledge of German is an advantage in the Czech Republic.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, orientation in technical documentation.
• Experience: Demonstrable practice in purchasing, ideally in the manufacturing sector (automotive, mechanical engineering).
