Head of Purchasing and Cooperation

Main pillars of the position

• Strategic Purchasing: Creation of purchasing strategy, ensuring the procurement of sheets and metallurgical materials, market analysis, negotiation of best prices and contractual terms with key suppliers.
• Management of Cooperations: Ensuring external production, subcontracting, and services that the company does not produce internally (outsourcing).
• Optimization and Development: Searching for new suppliers, assessing their reliability (audits), and continuous improvement of logistical flows.
• Team Leadership: Managing a team of buyers and coordinating purchasing with other departments (production, quality, finance).

Requirements for the position

• Education: High school/University education (ideally in an economic or technical field).
• Languages: Advanced knowledge of English (for the international market), knowledge of German is an advantage in the Czech Republic.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, orientation in technical documentation.
• Experience: Proven practice in purchasing, ideally in the manufacturing sector (automotive, mechanical engineering).
