Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Clean Technician to support routine machine checks and maintenance, including inspecting and replacing gas cylinders and chemicals. You will work closely with engineers to troubleshoot machine alarms and assist with evaluations and experimental activities. This role requires supporting the startup of new equipment and processes while ensuring smooth, reliable operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform machine routine check and maintenance
- Perform gas cylinder and chemical stock check and replacement
- Perform and assist the engineers for machine alarm troubleshooting
- Assist the engineers in evaluation and experiment
- Assist the engineers in new equipment and process start-up
- Any ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor / manager
Skills and Competencies Profile
Required Qualifications:
- NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, or any related field, fresh graduates may apply, OR
- 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles, is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Soft Skills:
- Able to work independently with initiative and strong accountability
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and familiarity with quality inspection procedures
Additional Information
- Willing to work in a 12-hour rotating day / night shift (4 working days / 3 rest days / 3 working days / 4 rest days)
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
