landscape technician

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees in gardens and landscapes
• Irrigate plants and lawns to ensure proper hydration
• Dig trenches and install irrigation systems
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners to maintain landscapes
• Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
• Assist with the installation of hardscapes such as patios and walkways
• Perform general landscape cleanup and debris removal

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
• Proficiency in using hand tools for landscaping tasks
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
