Freelance Electrical Engineer

Our client is an international industrial company operating a complex manufacturing environment with a strong focus on operational excellence and energy efficiency.

• Analyze electrical energy consumption and identify optimization opportunities across the site.
• Conduct electrical studies and calculations (load flow, short-circuit, selectivity) and develop electrical schematics using EPLAN in compliance with applicable standards.
• Identify, develop, and implement energy-saving projects related to electrical distribution, lighting, motors, drives, and network infrastructure.
• Coordinate electrical network improvement projects, ensuring proper documentation, safety compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage electrical documentation, inspection plans, and emergency power systems while reporting progress and recommendations to management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Engineering, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy management or electrical engineering within an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in sustainability and energy optimization.
• Solid knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, energy regulations, and industrial compliance requirements.
• Autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
