L'Hôtel de l'Abbaye - Le Cheval Blanc, located in Ferrières-en-Gâtinais (45), is looking for a versatile M/F Receptionist for a 35-hour per week fixed-term replacement contract.

Your tasks

Daily management of breakfast service

• Ensure the setup, organization, and smooth running of the breakfast service every working day.
• Welcome and serve guests.
• Monitor the replenishment and presentation of the buffet.
• Ensure clearing, tidying, and cleanliness of the breakfast area.
• Guarantee service quality and customer satisfaction.

Reception and customer relations

• Welcome and provide information to our French and international clientele.
• Handle check-outs, billing, and payments.
• Manage reservations, phone calls, and emails.
• Advise and build loyalty with our clientele.
• Occasionally participate in restaurant service.

Requirements

Our human-scale hotel-restaurant is looking for a smiling, dynamic, and organized person with a true sense of hospitality and customer service.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality/catering.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Excellent presentation and a true sense of hospitality.
• Autonomy, organization, dynamism, and team spirit.
• Ability to simultaneously manage reception and breakfast service.
• Experience in traditional or gastronomic catering is appreciated.

YOUR SCHEDULE AND DAYS OFF

• Fixed-term replacement contract - 35 weekly hours.
• Continuous morning shifts: start of shift at 6:30 AM or 7:30 AM depending on the schedule.
• End of service at 2:30 PM.
• Two consecutive days off each week.
• Off-season: Saturday and Sunday off.
• From May to the end of October: Sunday and Monday off.
• Sundays always free!
