The position:
As a Lifeguard, you will ensure the safety of clients within the wellness area and ensure compliance with the rules for using the facilities. Present and attentive, you will provide active and autonomous surveillance of your area, while remaining available to inform and assist clients to guarantee them a safe, calm, and pleasant environment. You are also capable of reacting quickly and effectively when needed. Your main missions: Surveillance & safety
Ensure active and constant surveillance of the pools
Prevent risks and intervene immediately if necessary
Guarantee a calm, soothing, and respectful atmosphere
Welcome clients, explain the rules, and ensure their comfort
Intervene with diplomacy but authority in case of inappropriate behavior (excessive noise, non-compliance with instructions?)
Maintenance & upkeep of the area
Ensure the impeccable cleanliness of the entire area: swimming pool, Nordic and Japanese baths, jacuzzi, saunas, hammams, changing rooms, sanitary facilities, relaxation areas
Manage your area with total autonomy, anticipating needs
Wellness animation (highly valued) Propose and supervise activities adapted to a high-end clientele: aquafitness, synchronized swimming, swimming lessons (children/adults), baby swimming, pilates, stretching, after-ski strengthening? Coordination & unforeseen events
Work in connection with the spa, reception, and housekeeping
Manage unforeseen events with calmness, autonomy, and efficiency
Profile sought:
Training
Up-to-date first aid and lifesaving diploma mandatory
Holder of BNSSA, BPJEPS AAN or equivalent diploma
Experience
Professional references and/or letters of recommendation are an important criterion in the examination of applications.
Experience in high-end hospitality is highly appreciated.
Languages
Professional English necessary
Mastery of another language is an asset: Italian, Dutch, or German
Skills & soft skills
Excellent mastery of hotel hospitality codes
Particularly developed sense of customer service
Patience, diplomacy, and self-control in all circumstances
Team spirit and ability to work effectively with different departments
