The position:
As a Spa Practitioner, you contribute directly to the quality of the well-being experience offered within the Alparena. Your mission is to offer personalized, precise, and deeply relaxing treatments, while creating a memorable experience adapted to each client. Your main missions: Welcome & customer relations
Welcome each client with kindness
Establish a climate of trust and accompany the client throughout their journey
Understand expectations, needs, and constraints (fatigue, pain, stress)
Personalization & experience
Adapt pressure, rhythm, and techniques according to each client's profile
Guide towards the most suitable treatments. Create a complete sensory experience and offer post-treatment advice
Treatment performance
Perform face and body treatments according to Thalgo brand protocols
Master different massage techniques: relaxing, sports, relaxing/decontracting
Guarantee consistent quality, mastered timing, and permanent adaptation to standards
Advice & sales
Advise clients on treatments and products with naturalness and sincerity
Participate in the development of turnover
Build loyalty through the quality of advice and the relationship
Space management
Prepare treatment rooms, maintain a clean and soothing space
Manage linen, products, and equipment, report restocking needs
Participate in the maintenance of well-being areas if necessary
Coordination
Work in connection with the spa team and the reception
Ensure fluid communication regarding schedules and client requests
Participate in the continuous improvement of services and be proactive
Profile sought:
Training & experience
Professional references and/or letters of recommendation constitute an important criterion in the examination of applications.
CAP, Bac Pro, CQP or BTS in the field of aesthetics/cosmetics and/or Spa Practitioner training required, or more than 5 years of experience in body massage practice.
Significant experience in a similar position in high-end hospitality.
Skills
Mastery of English; mastery of another foreign language is a real plus.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Ability to adapt to different client profiles and expectations.
Sense of organization, rigor, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of THALGO products and protocols is a real plus; training is provided at the beginning of the season.
Soft skills & team spirit
Sense of customer service and professional attitude in all circumstances.
Ability to work in a team and contribute to a good working atmosphere.
Spirit of mutual aid and ability to occasionally provide support, including on tasks outside the usual scope.
