Winter 2026-2027: Breakfast Manager (M/F)
A family business, the Les Balcons group has been building and operating Tourist Residences, Hotels, and Spas in Savoie since 1993. Overlooking the Tarentaise valley at 1,850 m altitude from the La Rosière resort, the Hôtel Alparena & Spa stands out as an essential warm and comfortable cocoon, recognized for its quality standards and the ultra-personalization of the services offered to its clients. The Hotel includes 58 luxurious and spacious rooms and suites with modern equipment, a spa of over 1,000m², and 2 restaurants: l'Alpagio, a bistronomic table, and le Solario, a panoramic mountain brasserie.
The position:
As Breakfast Manager, you are the guarantor of a key moment in the customer experience. You ensure the setup, organization, and smooth running of the breakfast service, while ensuring a personalized, fluid, and warm welcome for every client. You are also responsible for the operational, administrative, and sanitary management of your department. Main missions: Organization & supervision of the breakfast service Availability to work early morning shifts
Ensure the complete setup of the buffet and the organization of the service
Supervise the smooth running of the morning service in terms of operational, administrative, and sanitary aspects
Customer welcome & personalization of the experience
Welcome clients with naturalness, elegance, and efficiency
Anticipate needs and establish a relationship of trust
Manage breakfast requests (room service, apartments, specific requests) Supplies & stock management
Manage daily orders (bread, pastries, fresh and dry products)
Track deliveries and check supplier invoices
Ensure stock rotation and limit losses
Quality, standards & buffet presentation
Apply and enforce the establishment's standards
Guarantee a neat, regular, and attractive presentation of the buffet
Ensure the proper balance of the buffet following a logic of quality and waste limitation
Guarantee compliance with HACCP standards (temperatures, traceability, storage)
Ensure compliance during inspections and audits
Environmental commitment (Clé Verte)
Apply the establishment's environmental commitments
Promote local, organic products and the limitation of waste
Participate in waste reduction
Coordination & autonomous organization
Work in connection with reception, kitchen, and technical services
Organize the service autonomously and efficiently
Be proactive regarding the offer and organization

Profile sought:
: Experience
Degree in hospitality-catering is a real plus
Significant experience in service, ideally within 4- or 5* establishments
Professional references and/or letters of recommendation are highly appreciated and constitute an important element in the examination of applications
Mastery of English is essential, practice of a third language is a real plus
Skills
Excellent presentation, with a high sense of detail and service quality
Knowledge of HACCP standards
Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and the requirements of high-end clientele
