The position:
As a Chef de rang, you are a central actor in the dining room customer experience. You will take charge of a station with total autonomy, with the objective of offering fluid and perfectly personalized service. You enjoy customer contact, challenges, and the constant pursuit of satisfaction, including with the most demanding clients. Your main missions: Autonomous station management
Ensure complete setup and manage your station with total autonomy
Take charge of welcoming, taking orders, service, and customer follow-up
Record orders and production instructions on the pad
Anticipate needs and memorize customer habits
Customer experience & personalization
Welcome each client with elegance
Create a sincere, warm relationship adapted to each type of client
Manage dissatisfaction with calmness, diplomacy, and efficiency, and provide quick solutions
Advice & sales
Perfectly master the menu: dishes, suggestions, wines, drinks
Advise with precision and propose food & wine pairings
Actively participate in revenue development
Coordination & standards
Ensure fluid communication with the kitchen, the bar, and the dining room team
Permanently ensure plating, cleanliness, posture, and language
Occasionally participate in room service with the same level of requirement as in the dining room
Profile sought:
Experience and Skills
Confirmed experience as a Chef(fe) de rang, ideally in a similar high-standing establishment or within 4- or 5-star establishments
Professional references and/or letters of recommendation are highly appreciated and constitute an important element in the examination of applications
Excellent interpersonal skills, both with clients and with teams
Knowledge in oenology and the ability to propose food-wine pairings daily
Particularly developed sense of customer service, with keen attention to detail and quality
Languages
English mandatory.
Mastery of another language is an asset: Italian, Dutch, or German.
