Teaching Physician

Hospital MAC in León is looking for a highly skilled and committed General Teaching Physician to join our team.

OBJECTIVE

Coordinates, directs, and evaluates the development of teaching in the medical area; this includes physicians, nutrition, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, and psychology through the implementation of programs in human resources training, continuous and emerging training, research, and personnel in training (undergraduate interns, medical residents, interns, students, practitioners), performing the measurement of compliance with protocols and continuous improvement programs, as well as the dissemination and implementation of the Medical Teaching department manuals, with the purpose of increasing the quality of the service provided in compliance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the institution.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of educational resources: Administer educational resources available in the unit, including facilities, didactic materials, and educational technology, to ensure their efficient and effective use in the teaching and training of professionals.

Supervision of research activities: Supervise and support the execution of research projects in the medical area within the unit, facilitating access to resources and inter-institutional collaborations to promote the generation of relevant and applicable scientific knowledge.

• Support and training: Provide guidance, support, and training to educational personnel, promoting best practices and the continuous professional development of medical area professionals.

• Development of academic sessions, symposia, courses, workshops, keynote lectures, etc.: Organize and coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various academic activities, such as teaching sessions, symposia, courses, workshops, and keynote lectures, with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange, continuous learning, and the professional development of medical staff. This involves identifying relevant topics, ensuring the participation of experts, managing necessary logistics, and evaluating the impact of such activities on the fulfillment of established medical education and research objectives.

• Follow-up on the annual training plan: Supervise the implementation and effectiveness of the annual training plan, ensuring that professional development objectives and identified training needs are met. This involves monitoring the progress of training programs, evaluating their impact, and making adjustments as necessary to optimize results for the medical area staff. Follow-up and compliance with operational and academic programs for: o Undergraduate Internship o Medical Residents o Internships o Social Service o Students For all medical areas: physicians, nutrition, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, and psychology

Schedule Monday to Friday from 8:45 hrs to 17:30 hrs from Monday to Friday.
