*Position summary:*

The Shoppe Associate supports the daily operation of the Boutique Hospice Shoppe, including customer service, donation intake, sorting, pricing, and merchandising. This role helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment and contributes to the success of the store by working closely with staff and volunteers. All sales support the mission of Hospice SENB and end-of-life care in our community.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Greet and assist customers; process sales using the POS system.
• Accept, sort, and assess donations for quality and resale.
• Price and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and donation areas.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to support daily operations.

*Qualifications & Competencies:*

• Experience in retail, customer service, or donation sorting is an asset.
• Friendly, reliable, and adaptable with strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with and supporting volunteers.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools and technology, including inventory systems, email, and data entry software.
• Fluent in English and French (preferred)
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.

*Working Conditions*

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Fast-paced retail environment with frequent standing, lifting, and interaction with the public.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 ? 32.0 per week
