Monday–Friday: 9 hours inclusive of 30-minute lunch break

  • Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Shift allocation will be subject to the school's discretion and work arrangements. No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The Admin Assistant will provide front-line, logistical and administrative support to ensure the smooth daily operations of Temasek Junior College, with primary responsibility for reception and front-office functions.

πŸ”Ή Key Responsibilities

Front Office Operations

  • Handle interactions with visitors professionally, including students, parents and vendors.
  • Attend to student care and parent enquiries.
  • Manage vendor interactions and related front-office matters.
  • Answer incoming calls and handle correspondence.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional and organised reception area.

Administrative Support

  • Handle daily mail and document management.
  • Perform data entry and general office organisation.
  • Maintain accurate digital records using Microsoft Excel and relevant systems.
  • Support routine administrative activities as required.

Event Support

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for school activities.
  • Support operational requirements during examination periods and special events .

General Duties

  • Support school leadership with additional administrative responsibilities.
  • Carry out duties assigned by the Administration Managers, Vice-Principals and Principal .
  • Assist with other office duties required for the smooth operation of the school.

  • GCE O-Level qualification is preferred, or relevant administrative working experience.
  • Pleasant personality with willingness and inquisitiveness to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in commonly used office productivity applications.
  • Organised and able to multitask and prioritise daily responsibilities.
  • Good team player and able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

  • Relevant administrative or reception experience is advantageous.
  • Able to manage multiple daily tasks in a school office environment.
  • Comfortable using computer applications and office technology.
  • Must be able to climb stairs as required for work, as the General Office is located on Level 2 and there is no lift access..
