Responsibilities and assignments
Your day-to-day involves multidisciplinary activities and challenges such as:
- Execute and monitor activities related to the institution's Compliance and Internal Controls program.
- Perform the monitoring and maintenance of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) control documentation, ensuring its effectiveness and compliance.
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of audits.
- Monitor regulatory and normative changes issued by the Banco Central do Brasil (BACEN).
- Evaluate regulatory impacts on the organization's processes and controls, supporting business areas in implementing necessary adjustments.
- Perform control tests, adherence analyses, and compliance evaluations of internal processes.
- Prepare management reports, indicators, and executive presentations related to Compliance and Internal Controls themes.
- Support initiatives aimed at mitigating regulatory, operational, and compliance risks.
- Act together with business, risk, audit, legal, and internal control areas to strengthen the institution's governance environment.
Requirements and qualifications
What we are looking for in you:
- Completed higher education in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Law, Finance, Engineering, or related areas.
- Experience in Compliance, Internal Controls, or Audit in financial institutions.
- Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Law and control assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of the regulations and norms of the Banco Central do Brasil (BACEN).
- Intermediate/advanced Excel.
- Intermediate/advanced English.
