Behind every bridge, lock, and flood defense lies good preparation. With your purchasing knowledge and eye for planning, you lay the foundation for our projects. You will contribute to projects such as the Haringvlietbrug, the Hollandsche IJsselkering, and the new Terneuzen lock. Thanks to your choices, our colleagues can build steel structures that keep the Netherlands safe and accessible.

The duties of our purchaser No project can succeed without well-organized purchasing. Therefore, you will work daily with work preparers, project managers, engineers, tender teams, and suppliers. You monitor the planning and the budget and ensure that materials are available at the right time. At the same time, you keep the entire purchasing process moving. You will be involved in: Requesting, evaluating, and comparing quotes.

Drafting and finalizing framework agreements, orders, and contracts

Monitoring delivery times and taking action in case of deviations or claims

Evaluating suppliers and working towards sustainable cooperation

Managing supplier data, purchase part lists, and purchasing documentation

Continuously developing departmental processes

What does Hollandia offer? At Hollandia Infra, you work with colleagues who are proud of what they make. You will receive a lot of responsibility and trust to do your job well. You will work on large, technically challenging projects that are visible throughout the Netherlands. You will be mentored by an experienced project purchaser who will retire within 2 to 3 years. This gives you all the space to further develop yourself towards becoming a project purchaser. A salary of € 4,130.00 to € 5,429.00 per month (full-time basis)

A day off every now and then? No problem, we offer 40 days off per year

What are we looking for in you? You feel at home in a project environment where no two days are the same. You switch easily between colleagues, suppliers, and various projects. You think ahead, maintain an overview, and know how to find the right balance between quality, planning, and costs. With your communication skills, you build sustainable collaborations and ensure that agreements are met. Furthermore, you have: HBO working and thinking level or MBO 4 with relevant work experience

Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of purchasing processes

Good command of the Dutch and English languages

A few years of experience with technical purchasing within a production environment

NEVI 1 or 2 or the willingness to obtain these diplomas

An availability of 40 hours
