Reception and Events Officer M/F
Why we are recruiting
As part of a team reinforcement, we are recruiting a Reception and Events Officer on a 9-month CDD to organize Group events and ensure the management of reception venues. Position based at the Group holding company, in Bordeaux.
YOUR MISSIONS
You are the point of contact for events organized within the reception spaces in the Bordeaux region: Château Clément-Pichon (Parempuyre), Château La Dominique (Saint-Emilion), 7th floor of the insight building (Bordeaux Rive Droite), Espace Germaine Fayat (Libourne).
You will report hierarchically to the Group Communication Manager, and will work in close collaboration with the communication team, as well as with the teams working on FAYAT sites, such as the vineyards.
Your main missions are:
- Welcoming clients on-site and providing assistance before/during/after the event (accommodation, catering, transport, outings, entertainment, etc.);
- Preparation, setup, and installation of FAYAT Group reception sites during Group events (site inspection, welcoming participants and external speakers, catering, logistics, furniture installation, IT installations, setting up signage, sound systems, logistics, cleaning, etc.);
- Animation and coordination of service providers;
- Price and contractual negotiations;
- Optimization of reservation schedules;
- Communication to be deployed on Group communication tools for major events;
- Promotion of the global offering of reception venues to internal clients.
The list of missions is not exhaustive and involves regular travel in the Bordeaux region as well as presence at event locations, including in the evening (excluding weekends).
You have a higher education background in event management or project management in the hotel/restaurant industry and have at least 3 years of successful experience in a similar position.

- You master provider management, logistical and event organization, as well as the monitoring of the budgets entrusted to you.
- Rigorous and organized, you know how to manage several subjects in parallel while respecting priorities and deadlines.
- Autonomous, reactive, and proactive, you demonstrate anticipation.
- Possessing excellent interpersonal and service skills.
- You have fluent English, both written and spoken.
Position to be filled starting early November 2026. Full-time fixed-term contract (CDD).
