IMPORT ANALYST

Support import and export management across different Procurement teams through monitoring, control of customs agencies, and delivery to the final customer, seeking to centralize information and ensure effective follow-up on processes at the final destination. Implementing strategies to improve performance indicators, in order to optimize operational efficiency and comply with established deadlines and requirements.

Functions:

• Coordinate with customs agents and logistics service companies at destination to ensure compliance with import deadlines, guaranteeing fluid and efficient logistics.
• Coordinate exports with different logistics agents, ensuring fluid and efficient logistics.
• Verify invoices and taxes related to import and export operations, in order to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax and customs regulations.
• Review and validate import and export documents, ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and facilitate a smooth customs clearance process.
• Perform pre-settlement (costing) of imports and exports, to ensure correct cost allocation and optimization of financial resources.
• Review minimum descriptions of goods, ensuring they are aligned with customs regulations and facilitate a smooth import and export process.

Workplace: Medellín /Hybrid.

Compensation: $3.153.000 + language bonus

Indispensable requirements:

• Professional in International Business or administrative or related careers.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in land, sea, and air transport operations, especially in freight forwarders for international transport and customs agencies.
• English B2
• Intermediate-advanced Excel
