We are looking for you! To strengthen our team, a Professorship (m/f/d) (W2) General Business Administration and Accounting/Controlling is to be filled at the Fakultät für Wirtschaft und Recht starting from the summer semester 2027. Do you have substantial professional experience and are you an expert in Kostenrechnung and Controlling? Are you interested in teaching and applied research? Your future area of responsibility

• You will hold introductory and advanced lectures in General BWL in our Bachelor's degree programs in Betriebswirtschaftslehre and Wirtschaftsrecht. Particular focus is placed on the area of Kosten- und Leistungsrechnung as well as the fundamentals of BWL.
• The assumption of further courses at Bachelor or Master level on topics of BWL is desired in the medium term after consultation.
• You will conduct part of the courses in English.
• You will actively participate in applied research and publish specialist articles.
• You will participate in the academic self-administration of the university.

What we expect

• You have successfully completed your studies and a doctorate in Wirtschaftswissenschaften or related fields.
• You can demonstrate relevant professional experience of at least 5 years, preferably in industry and in Controlling.
• You show a high degree of motivation and commitment to teaching and have ideally already been able to use your didactic skills in academic teaching.
• You possess a willingness to conduct research, which is reflected in application- or teaching-oriented publications.
• Proficient command of the English language and the willingness to conduct courses in English round off your profile.

Appointment requirements include, among others, a completed university degree, scientific qualification, which is generally demonstrated by a doctorate, and at least five years of professional experience, of which at least three years are outside the university sector.
