Storage Engineer

SKILLS

• Strong technical expertise in PowerEdge, PowerScale, VMAX, and PowerMax storage solutions
• In-depth knowledge of PowerEdge rack servers, PowerScale nodes workflow, and Isilon technology
• Ability to compare and contrast structured and unstructured data, as well as data management and security features
• Experience with VMAX and PowerMax array models, including configuration options and hardware components
• Strong understanding of the physical architecture of Isilon and its OneFS operating system
• Ability to explain PowerScale concepts and their relevance to storage management
• Minimum 6 Years’ Experience.
• Level 3 System Administration in Unix flavors such as Solaris or HPUX or AIX or Linux Redhat.
• Data Migration skill set using host-based utilities such as LVM Mirroring, VxVM Mirroring etc.
• Knowledge in VMWare/Virtualization added Advantageous.
