HMD Forewin (Heavy Machinery Dealership) is leading network of heavy machinery and building equipment suppliers operating across Africa, and it is a major part of AIG (African International Group) Job Function Leads the organization’s aftermarket business efforts through, developing and implementing the Aftermarket Strategic Business Plan creating the annual Parts and Service Department goals and budget in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives, managing the Customer Satisfaction Program, developing and maintaining competitive intelligence systems and recruiting, hiring developing and retaining key talent Responsibilities

Develops and implements the Aftermarket Strategic Business for the organization. Develops and maintains effective Parts and Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Creates annual Parts and Service Department goals and budget in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives. Develops and executes Parts and Service Department marketing plan and monitors to ensure achievement of established goals. Manages the organization’s Customer Satisfaction Program. Develops and maintains competitive intelligence systems. Maintains an effective sales management system with assigned sales territories. Manages the Parts and Service Department employee compensation plans- Recruits, hires, develops and retains key talent by maintaining a current Internal Depth Chart, Recruiting and Hiring Plans and individual development plans.

Qualification Required & Experience

3-5 years experience in managing Parts/Service Department operations. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group. Excellent understanding of financial principles related to Parts and Service Department operations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
