Intern - Personal Financial Services (UI/UX)
Functional (job responsibilities) App Redesign & Prototyping: Assist in redesigning key mobile banking screens, user flows, and interactive prototypes for next-generation app features. Design & Icon System: Help build and document a unified design system, UI component library, and standardized icon guide for the mobile app. Marketing Collateral Creation: Create digital marketing visuals, in-app banners, social media assets, and promotional graphics to drive feature adoption. Asset Preparation: Export, slice, and optimize UI assets, icons, and graphic elements for developer handover and production deployment.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities) Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and UI/UX leads to ensure design feasibility and seamless execution. Feedback & Iteration: Present design concepts and wireframes during sprint reviews and iterate based on team feedback.
Organizational (organizational responsibilities) Brand Consistency : Ensure all UI components and marketing collateral strictly adhere to bank branding and accessibility standards. Asset Governance : Maintain organized design repositories, Figma libraries, and file structures for future scalability.
Education/ Qualification Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX, Communications Design, or a related discipline. Undergraduates/Students from SUTD, LASALLE College of the Arts, or NAFA are strongly preferred. Experience Strong academic or personal portfolio showcasing mobile UI/UX concepts, visual design, and graphic design capabilities. Prior internship experience in UI/UX or digital graphic design is a plus. Special Skills Design Software: Proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. UI/UX Fundamentals: Understanding of mobile layout principles, typography, visual hierarchy, user flow mapping, and wireframing. Visual Versatility: Comfortable switching between technical UI component building (icons/design systems) and creative marketing visual generation.
