Senior/Buyer (Semiconductor, East Region)

Responsibilities:

• Manage commodities related to consumables, MRO, spare parts, and assigned projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers on specifications, quality, pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Review new material/part requests and set up items in ERP material master if needed.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers in coordination with stakeholders.
• Plan material requirements to ensure timely procurement and inventory efficiency.
• Monitor and investigate trends or unusual usage patterns.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure prompt delivery.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and strategy.
• Coordinate with internal/external parties on quality and supply issues, including line fallouts.
• Handle supplier claims and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.
• Communicate changes in products, suppliers, services, or specifications with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in Engineering, Supply chain management or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Experienced in forecasting demand, scheduling production, and ensuring timely availability of materials.
