E&I Supervisor

For our client, a petrochemical site in Antwerp, we are looking for an E&I Supervisor.

• You’ll supervise and coordinate construction activities within your discipline to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution.
• You’ll ensure all works are executed in accordance with technical specifications, engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• You’ll act as the key liaison between contractors, vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
• You’ll monitor project progress, identify risks or deviations, and implement corrective actions when required.
• You’ll review technical documentation, drawings, change requests, and contractor deliverables within your discipline.
• You’ll coordinate inspections, testing, and handover activities, ensuring timely closure of punch list items.
• You’ll participate in planning, progress, coordination, quality, and HSE meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• You’ll promote standardization, continuous improvement, and best engineering practices on site.
• You’ll report to the Construction Superintendent.
• You’ll champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
• You’ll participate in safety reviews, site inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and HSE audits.
• You’ll support safe execution during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• You’ll review, approve, comment on, or reject construction activities and punch list items related to your discipline.
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent through minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical, chemical, industrial, or process industry.
• You are experienced in construction projects, maintenance organizations, or project-based environments.
• You own a strong technical expertise within your discipline and have proven experience supervising contractors and subcontractors.
• You have a solid understanding of industrial installations and construction site activities.
• You are proficient in common computer applications and digital tools and own strong organizational skills with a focus on quality, safety, budget, and results.
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• You’re proactive, hands-on, and have a solution-oriented mindset.
• You’re a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• You are willing to travel to project locations when required.
