Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements and budget.
• Develop interior design concepts and space-planning proposals.
• Prepare 2D layouts, 3D perspectives and design presentations.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant design software .
• Prepare quotations and material selections.
• Present design proposals and quotations to clients.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and relevant project teams.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress.
• Ensure designs are practical, within budget and meet clients' requirements.
• Follow up with clients from initial consultation through project completion.
• Maintain good client relationships and identify potential sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field preferred.
• Experience in Singapore's residential renovation/interior-design industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp preferred.
• Good design sense and understanding of space planning and materials.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and suppliers.
• Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Candidates with relevant experience but without formal qualifications may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years: Junior Interior Designer
• 3+ years: Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer
