Responsibilities and assignments

• Install, configure, and administer Microsoft Exchange Server environments;
• Administer the architecture and the different roles of Microsoft Exchange Server;
• Act in the support of the corporate email infrastructure, aiming for high availability and continuity of services;
• Implement and administer email security policies, including authentication, encryption, and access control;
• Perform integration of Microsoft Exchange with Active Directory, SharePoint, and Office 365;
• Plan, execute, and manage backup and data recovery strategies for Exchange Server;
• Configure and maintain email retention policies;
• Act with compliance regulations and electronic discovery (e-Discovery) processes.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, or another higher education course plus a postgraduate degree in IT;
• Proven certification or training in ITIL Foundation v3 or higher;
• Experience in administration and support of VMware or Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure, in large companies and high availability environments;
• Experience in administration and support of Windows or Linux operating systems, in large companies and high availability environments;
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server;
• Experience with Active Directory;
• Experience with Office 365;
• Experience with SharePoint;
• Experience with Windows Server;
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V;
• Technical English sufficient for reading documentation and articles and basic written communication for opening tickets with manufacturers.

Certification: It is desirable to possess at least one (1) of the certifications mentioned below:

• Microsoft Certified: Exchange 365 Messaging Administrator Associate;
• Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals;
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
