Responsibilities and assignments

• Install, configure, administer, and sustain IBM MQ environments and WebSphere cells (Network Deployment);
• Act in the maintenance and high availability of critical application environments;
• Automate infrastructure processes using Ansible, Puppet, and Shell Script;
• Configure and automate WebSphere cells via wsadmin using Jython Scripting;
• Create and maintain automation routines using PowerShell or Python;
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of problems in Java EE applications;
• Analyze logs using Splunk or Elastic Stack;
• Administer containers using Docker or Podman, including Dockerfile;
• Perform code versioning using Git.

Requirements and qualifications

Necessary requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Technology, or another higher education course plus a postgraduate degree in IT;
• Proven experience with infrastructure process automation or configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or equivalent, in a large company and high availability environment;
• Experience with automation using Shell Script and Ansible;
• Experience with YAML, JSON, and REST APIs;
• Experience with Git, including command line, commit, pull, and push;
• Experience with Docker or Podman and Dockerfile;
• Experience with PowerShell or Python;
• Experience with Puppet, Jython Scripting, and wsadmin;
• Experience with Splunk or Elastic Stack;
• ITIL Foundation v3 certification or higher, with equivalent duly proven training being accepted;
• Experience in the installation and administration of IBM MQ environments;
• Experience in the installation and administration of WebSphere cells (Network Deployment);
• Experience in the analysis and determination of problems in Java EE applications;
• Technical IT English for reading articles and documentation and basic written communication for opening tickets with manufacturers.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience with Dynatrace or equivalent APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tool;
• Experience in operating these applications on the RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) platform.
