Responsibilities and assignments

• Administer, operate, and monitor analytical databases in a large-scale, high-availability environment;
• Act in the maintenance and technical support of the Teradata Vantage environment;
• Support the continuous operation of analytical databases integrated into the DataCenter infrastructure;
• Perform opening, monitoring, and resolution of technical tickets, following ITIL practices;
• Perform reading of technical documentation in English;
• Interact in writing with manufacturers for the opening and monitoring of technical tickets.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Technology, or another higher education course plus a postgraduate degree in IT;
• Proven certification or training in ITIL Foundation v3 or higher, with equivalent training being accepted upon proof;
• Introduction to Teradata Vantage 2.3 training, or equivalent training;
• Proven experience acting as a Database Administrator in a large company and high-availability environment;
• Experience with administration, operation, and monitoring of analytical databases;
• Experience with maintenance and technical support of the Teradata Vantage environment;
• Technical English in IT sufficient for reading articles and technical documentation, and basic written communication for interaction in tickets with manufacturers.
