Your tasks

In order to anchor digitalization at the extended management level, Innosuisse has created the new function of Head of Digital Solutions (CIO).

As a member of the extended management, you will assume responsibility for Innosuisse's IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. You will bridge the gap between technology and organizational objectives, drive digital transformation, and lead the development of the Digital Solutions unit, including the IT Operations & Technology, Business Solutions, and Security & Governance domains.

• Development of a digitalization and AI roadmap, closely aligned with Innosuisse's objectives
• Leadership of digitalization initiatives and transformation programs
• Responsibility for stable, high-performance, and secure operations on Azure and M365, including the development of the central system "Innolink"
• Development and leadership of Digital Solutions with internal and external employees
• Responsibility for the IT budget, investment planning, and portfolio management
• Responsibility for IT security, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery
• Management of external partners and conduct of public procurement procedures (OMC)
• Representation of digitalization and IT themes to the management, the Board of Directors, and the Innovation Council

Requirements

• Degree from a university of applied sciences in computer science, electrical engineering, engineering sciences, business informatics, or a comparable field
• Several years of leadership experience in a senior IT management role, ideally at the C-level
• Solid experience in IT strategy, digitalization, IT architecture, and transformation, including change management
• Experience with AI technologies and strategies, agile application development, and IT security
• Experience in IT service management and project portfolio management, with a solid understanding of business management
• Ideally, experience with public procurement (OMC) and managing external development partners
• Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, pragmatic approach to implementation, excellent communication skills
• Ability to unite stakeholders and rally employees to change
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, innovation, and research
• Very good knowledge of German and English, as well as good knowledge of French or Italian
