Senior Designer

Job summary: The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with the Project Director and design/FF&E team and be responsible for all design phases from concept development to visualisation, documentation and site implementation.  Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all design phases from concept to site supervision Work closely with the Project lead, design and FF&E team Coordinate with operator, relevant consultants and contractors during all project stages Coordinate with drafting teams to produce fully coordinated tender documentation packages Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet given deadlines Attend site meetings and factory inspections to check compliance to design and assist in providing solutions to site issues Mentor junior team members

Requirements: Degree/Diploma/Equivalent Professional Certificates in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent Minimum of 10 years experience designing interiors of hotels in South East Asia and China Experience in handling hospitality and residential projects in all design phases from concept to site implementation Experience in designing for various hotel brands and understanding the specific needs required by operators Strong in space planning and able to assist in concept development Coordinate with the 3d visualization team to create realistic renderings reflecting the design intent Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching Good understanding of site work and implementation Strong communication skills Thorough understanding of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign Knowledge of Sketchup will be a plus Proficient in CAD standards and organization of drawing packages Strong organisational skills Able to understand drawings and design Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Reliable to work independently
