Warehouse Supervisor

Your Responsibilities

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of warehouse operations and warehouse personnel.

Operational Management

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inbound, outbound, storage, order picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Ensure all operations are executed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and productivity.
• Coordinate workload and staffing according to operational needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate warehouse operators and temporary workers.
• Organize daily work schedules and task assignments.
• Train new employees and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a positive and productive working environment.
• Conduct performance follow-up and provide coaching when necessary.

Inventory & Quality Control

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.

Health & Safety

• Promote a strong safety culture within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian health and safety regulations.
• Report incidents and implement preventive actions.

Communication & Reporting

• Act as the key link between warehouse staff, management, customers, and suppliers.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to management.
• Support customer visits and warehouse audits when required.

Your ProfileRequired Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes and logistics operations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS systems).

Languages

• Dutch OR English required.
• Chinese is considered a strong advantage.

Preferred

• Experience in 3PL logistics or fulfillment operations.
• Experience managing multicultural teams.
• Forklift certificate is a plus.
