Your tasks

Exceptional hospitality starts with you Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a night auditor, you’re not just ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial transactions – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day

• Ensure accurate financial records: balance and code the previous day’s transactions, preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries.
• Verify payment accuracy: ensure all credit card transactions align with daily reports.
• Verify and audit transactions: review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments.
• Perform daily reconciliation of all revenue and settlement amounts per the POS, PMS, and other revenue sources and record the results.
• Review all voids, discounts, and entertainment/duty food and beverage charges.
• Maintain recordkeeping: file and archive financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements.
• Collaborate for success: assist team members and other departments as needed.
