Manager Nordics (m/f/x)
The Position
We are looking for a project manager with strong interpersonal skills to fill
the position as Strategic Projects Manager (SPM). Reporting to the General
Manager of Daiichi Sankyo Nordics & Canada, this role will partner to
develop the organization's strategic vision and be a project leader for key
business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Manage, plan and/or support dedicated complex strategic projects
to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within
budgeted costs/resources
Prioritize, steer and manage several projects at the same time
Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools
to manage these resources, budgets, risks and changes
Translate cross-functional requirements and needs into concepts
and processes
Manage the change management process in order to drive faster
adaptation within in organization
Set up and maintain a communication plan for all initiatives ensuring
that relevant stakeholders are fully informed at appropriate stages
Establish process management optimization and matrix working within
the organization in collaboration with the Nordic Leadership Team
Business Operations:
Work with the General Manager and NLT to create the strategic vision
for the organization and identify and design appropriate projects across
the business in order to drive business transformation and development
Work closely with the General Manager and NLT to coordinate the annual
Strategic and Operating Plan process to deliver high quality plans,
projects and deliver on financial commitments
Constantly improve and manage the interface among commercial,
medical, and market access and enabling functions across the affiliate
Contribute to transform the organization towards the principles of a
high performing, customer centric organization, utilizing the skills
of program management and communication
Monitor performance objectives. Work with the team to develop
corrective actions, as required
Schedule and/or plan, support and facilitate business meetings,
workshop and events for the General Manager and NLT
Provide input and data on operations as required by Europe/Global
Key Responsibilities

Liaison with Corporate/DS Europe/Global/ US team to ensure consistent
‘One DS’ approach for planning/execution and support on having
a good alignment
Support the General Manager and NLT in establishing and fostering
an agile and efficient way of working across the organization of
internal and Alliance meetings to ensure efficiency, collaboration and
execution of the action plan
Internal/External interfaces:
Act as initial point of contact with external stakeholders as required
Provide key inputs to internal and external communications and partner
with communications specialists and others as required to develop and
implement effective communications strategies
Act as a change agent within the organization and make sure that
both change management and communication are done effectively
Act as ambassador to build DS’s reputation, and support business
engagement initiatives as required
Alliance Management:
Support the team on ensuring appropriate Alliance Management
including governance and ways of working
Work in close contact with Alliance Management teams and relevant
DS committee members to provide aggregated regional input on
alliance strategic projects
Support the General Manager and NLT in monitoring corresponding
planning processes at DS and at its Alliance strategic partner,
as well as the respective budget performance
Aggregate feedback from OBU EU Leadership Team on country
and regional Alliance related issues and topics
Organizational relationships:
The Strategic Projects Manager will works closely with:
General Manager Nordics & Canada
Nordic Leadership Team
Project Managers from other countries and Europe
Global and other regional Oncology teams
Enabling and partner function leads
Alliance Executive Commitee
Brand Team(s)

Professional experience
and personal skills:
Education and experience
A university degree, preferably a Master’s degree or equivalent, in Science,
Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience
Pharma experience is a plus
