Mechanical Engineer
Must-have:Lead
- Perform mechanical design of small and accurate systems, structural elements, pneumatic and vacuum systems, sheet metal design, electrical cages, filtration systems, and cooling systems for clean-room environments.
- Design and execute experiments in our R&D lab.
- Perform mechanical and thermal simulations and analyses for design validation.
- Lead the mechanical aspects of the development process, conduct design reviews, and collaborate with team members from other disciplines: project management, product manufacturing, field support, and suppliers.
- Support the transition to production, define assembly and service instructions, and work closely with the production line.
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, with 7+ years of mechanical design experience.
- High proficiency in CAD software – SolidWorks -mandatory.
- Experience with manufacturing technologies (machining, 3D printing, coating, sheet metal) – mandatory.
- Experience with small and accurate mechanisms.
- Experience in mechanical, thermal, and CFD / flow simulations and analysis – an advantage.
- Experience with PLM software and change management processes.
- Hands-on experience in the assembly, integration, and validation of self-designed mechanical assemblies.
- Experience in opto-mechanical design — an advantage
- Team player, well organized, independent, and with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Knowledge in pneumatics – an advantage.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry – an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
