Data Engineer

Your tasks

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to establish and scale a modern enterprise data platform supporting satellite operations, network analytics, engineering investigations, business intelligence, anomaly detection, and machine learning initiatives. In this role, you will implement data pipelines, data models, governance frameworks, and analytical datasets that transform fragmented operational data into trusted, reusable organizational assets. This role will work closely with Data Scientists, System Engineers, RF Engineers, Software Developers, Operations teams, and Business stakeholders.

Data Platform Development Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Integrate data from multiple operational systems, databases, APIs, files, telemetry streams, and cloud services. Build and maintain bronze, silver, and gold data layers. Develop reusable data models that support multiple business domains. Implement historical backfills and incremental loading mechanisms. Establish data lineage and metadata management practices. Develop automated data quality tests and monitoring. Design data solutions on AWS. Optimize storage, compute, and operational costs. Manage large-scale datasets efficiently. Support infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD patterns. Create analytical datasets for BI, reporting, and self-service analytics. Support Power BI and other data consumers. Work with Data Scientists to operationalize feature engineering workflows. Troubleshoot production pipeline failures. Improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability. Participate in architectural decisions for future data platform evolution.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Experience 5+ years of Data Engineering experience. Proven experience building production-grade cloud data platforms. Experience working with large-scale operational datasets. Experience supporting analytics and data science workloads. Experience with SQL, Python and/or Spark, Power BI, APIs, Git/DevOps, and data integration Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support of production data pipelines Strong experience designing and operating cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred), including Datalake/Lakehouse, ETL pipelines, and analytical data models
