Finance Staff

Job Summary The Finance Staff member is responsible for executing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role ensures compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and company financial policies.

Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices, verify payments, prepare vendor disbursements, and manage timely billing and collection from clients. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate general ledger entries, post daily cash transactions, and ensure proper document archiving for auditing. Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow movements, and report discrepancies promptly. Tax & Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax withholdings) and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements. Financial Reporting: Support the senior team in preparing monthly profit-and-loss statements, expense variance reports, and balance sheet reconciliations. Administrative Support: Assist with internal and external audits, process employee expense claims, and coordinate inventory or asset counts as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations (fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered). Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Xero). Compliance & Tax: Basic working knowledge of local tax laws, GAAP, or IFRS reporting standards. Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, sharp attention to detail, high integrity, and solid written and verbal communication skills.
