HMI UX/UI Engineer Automotive (m/f/d)

Tasks:

Development and conception of innovative Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) solutions for trucks and buses, taking into account usability, ergonomics, and user needs Creation and maintenance of GUI concepts, design guidelines, wireframes, state charts, as well as HMI specifications up to series maturity Accompanying implementation and ensuring conceptual quality in close cooperation with design, software, electronics, and vehicle development Coordination and control of HMI requirements with internal specialist departments as well as external development partners and suppliers Moderation of interdisciplinary workshops as well as support in the continuous further development of HMI standards and operating concepts

Requirements:

Completed studies in Media Informatics, Computer Science, Interaction Design, Vehicle Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study Several years of professional experience in the development of HMI, UX, or GUI concepts, ideally in the automotive or commercial vehicle environment Sound knowledge of ergonomics, usability, user-centered development methods, as well as handling design and prototyping tools Experience in agile development projects as well as strong communication, moderation, and teamwork skills Very good English skills in speaking and writing, confident handling of MS Office (especially Visio), as well as willingness for occasional international business trips
