Head of Global Logistics (m/w/d)

Tasks:

• Development and implementation of the global logistics strategy for transport, warehousing, and distribution
• Control and optimization of international material flows as well as ensuring cost, schedule, and service targets (OTIF)
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the global logistics team as well as management of international logistics service providers
• Further development and digitalization of logistics processes as well as ensuring compliance with international trade and customs regulations
• Establishment of effective risk and performance management to ensure a resilient global logistics organization

Requirements:

• Completed studies in the field of logistics, Supply Chain Management, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in international logistics or Supply Chain Management as well as leadership experience in a global environment
• Sound knowledge in the areas of transport, warehousing, logistics networks, and ERP/logistics systems
• Strong business understanding as well as experience in cost control and process optimization
• High communication and stakeholder management competence as well as business fluent English skills
