About the role
Behind every unforgettable stay is someone who anticipates what a guest has yet to ask for. We are seeking a Butler to join a distinguished team at a Forbes Five-Star luxury resort in Singapore, delivering discreet, personalised service to the world’s most discerning travellers.
The Butler We Seek
- At least 2 years of experience in luxury hospitality / Butler; a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred
- Fluency in English and Mandarin to serve our Mandarin-speaking guests; additional languages are a distinct advantage
- A deep appreciation of Singapore’s culture, dining and attractions, and an intuitive understanding of international luxury travellers
- Proficiency in property management and point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office
- Impeccable grooming, polished presence, and the charm and confidence to hold natural, personal conversations with guests
- Exceptional attention to detail and grace under pressure
- Absolute discretion in handling guest and company information
- A warm, positive and collaborative spirit, with the flexibility to work any day and any shift
- The physical ability to stand for long periods and to lift and carry items

Before they arrive
Study each guest’s preferences and history, extend a warm personal welcome ahead of their stay, and prepare every suite with considered, thoughtful details.
From the moment they step in
Greet guests with poise, guide them through an elegantly tailored suite orientation, offer a welcome drink, and attend to their unpacking, so they feel at home from the first minute.
Throughout their stay
Be their trusted point of contact for every wish: in-room dining, private transport, restaurant reservations, entertainment and tickets, and bespoke itineraries. Provide refined suite care, including turndown, laundry and shoe-shining, and create memorable celebrations for life’s special occasions. Record each preference with care, so that every return visit feels even more personal.
As they depart
Arrange packing, luggage and transport with seamless precision, ensure every detail of the bill is accurate, and give each guest a gracious farewell that lingers.
Behind the scenes
Handle feedback with tact and composure, uphold workplace safety and security standards, hand over thoughtfully between shifts, and contribute fresh ideas that elevate the guest experience. You may rotate to supporting teams as operations require.
