Butler (5-Star Luxury Hospitality)
Job Description
We are seeking a service-oriented Butler to deliver personalised, high-quality experiences for guests in a luxury hotel environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, coordinating personalised arrangements and ensuring a seamless experience throughout each guest's stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised guest service from pre-arrival preparation to departure, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
- Review guest profiles and preferences to prepare suites, amenities and special arrangements according to individual requirements.
- Welcome guests, conduct in-suite check-in and provide suite orientation and luggage assistance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests in person, over the phone, via email and messaging platforms.
- Coordinate restaurant reservations, transportation, sightseeing, entertainment and other guest arrangements.
- Handle in-room dining orders, serve meals and coordinate the replenishment of amenities, room servicing, laundry and other in-suite services.
- Arrange personalised experiences and celebrations for special occasions.
- Proactively follow up on guest requests, resolve service issues and escalate complaints or incidents when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest preference records, operational documentation and shift handovers.
- Work closely with housekeeping, food and beverage, concierge and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to luxury hospitality service standards, grooming requirements, workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or guest services.
- Prior luxury hotel or VIP guest service experience will be an advantage.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin; both essential for serving Mandarin-speaking guests.
- Proficient in Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
- Able to work well in a team, manage priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
