The HR Specialist owns Hexacon’s learning operations and L&D administration, delivering a consistent training service, maintaining accurate learning records and supporting manager-led capability development.

  • Manage the training calendar by sourcing courses, scheduling sessions, securing vendor bookings and ensuring smooth delivery
  • Coordinate end-to-end training logistics for staff and workers (e.g. registration, attendance tracking, travel/venue arrangements, reimbursements and certificates of completion)
  • Support internal HR and Hexacon Academy sessions by liaising with subject-matter experts, preparing facilitator packs, handling logistics, assisting with facilitation and managing post-session follow-ups
  • Maintain and reconcile the central training records and learning database; ensure evaluations are issued, collated and reported and file training certificates
  • Track statutory and license-related training requirements to ensure timely completion; escalate non-compliance and coordinate remedial actions
  • Produce regular L&D reports and dashboards (e.g. attendance, expenditure, completion rates, basic impact metrics) for HR and business stakeholders
  • Research and prepare briefs on relevant government training grants and funding schemes; support grant application preparation as required
  • Continuously review and improve L&D processes, templates and reporting practices to enhance efficiency and employee experience

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field from a recognized university
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in training administration, L&D coordination or HR operations; construction industry exposure is an advantage
  • Proficient in LMS/HRMS/HRIS platforms, MS Excel and common-learning tools; comfortable with virtual training platforms (Zoom/Teams)
