• Attractive above-tariff compensation based on the DGB collective agreement with an annual gross salary between €55,000 and €58,000, depending on qualification and professional experience

YOUR TASKS

• Procurement of technical components, materials, and services for plant engineering within the assigned product groups
• Observation and analysis of relevant procurement markets as well as evaluation of current market, price, and supplier developments
• Creation of procurement plans and advising internal stakeholders on suitable suppliers, procurement options, and alternatives
• Independent handling of procurement processes from requirement clarification and tendering to contract award
• Coordination of technical specifications with the responsible specialist departments as well as selection and evaluation of suitable suppliers and service providers
• Requesting and commercial evaluation of offers as well as preparation and conduct of price, condition, and contract negotiations
• Participation in the design of purchase, work, and service contracts as well as creation of well-founded award recommendations
• Processing of contract and performance deviations as well as identification of savings and optimization potential in the responsible procurement area

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in the business administration field, for example, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable specialization
• Several years of professional experience in procurement and in the independent handling of demanding procurement processes, ideally in technical procurement, plant engineering, or a comparable industrial environment
• Sound business understanding of procurement and logistics processes as well as experience in supplier selection, offer evaluation, and procurement planning
• Experience in the preparation and conduct of price, condition, and contract negotiations as well as a good understanding of commercial contract content
• Confident handling of SAP and digital procurement systems as well as good user knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Ivalua or comparable e-procurement systems is an advantage
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing for secure communication and negotiation with international suppliers and business partners
• Quick comprehension as well as an independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident appearance towards internal specialist departments, suppliers, and service providers
