Arts Teacher

Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver comprehensive, engaging lesson plans in your respective subject area, aligned with the national curriculum (WAEC/NECO). Administer tests, examinations, and continuous assessments to evaluate and track student progress. Maintain excellent classroom management and enforce school discipline in a manner consistent with our Christian values. Keep accurate administrative records, including attendance registers, grading books, and student performance reports. Identify students who require extra help and provide necessary academic support and mentorship. Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences. Collaborate with other teachers and school management to foster a positive, holistic learning environment for all students in the Ogunmakin region.

Requirements:

Minimum of an H.N.D in the relevant subject area. A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is highly advantageous.

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.

Deep knowledge and mastery of the specific subject you are applying to teach.

High moral standards, integrity, and a willingness to work within a faith-based, Christian educational framework.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Willingness to relocate to or commute within the Ogunmakin region (Free staff accommodation is provided).

Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
