This is an extremely unique opportunity to join our small but mighty recruiting team here at Hermeus. We are the ones responsible for finding, attracting, and hiring the next great engineer, manufacturer, or people ops person. A lot rides on our shoulders - what we do sets the trajectory for what's possible at Hermeus --- through the people we find and hire.

No other recruiting opportunity in the aerospace/newspace arena is quite as unique as what Hermeus is doing. You'll learn what truly special company culture feels like, all while recruiting best-in-the-world people across all disciplines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead kickoff meetings with Hiring Managers across SG&A and Operations teams to develop requisitions, understand recruiting needs, and discuss headcount. You'll act as a true partner by providing insight and guidance throughout the entire interview and recruiting process.
• Create and execute long-term strategies to source candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future needs across SG&A and Operations functions.
• Actively source and engage candidates (the best candidates may not even be looking!) using innovative techniques tailored to each role and talent market.
• Leverage referrals, leads, emerging technology, external recruiting partners, and networking events to build our brand and talent pipeline.
• Screen candidates while articulating the Hermeus mission, culture, trajectory, and company benefits as appropriate.
• Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the process, giving them an exceptional experience from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate records in our ATS, Lever.
• Willingly assist teammates in all endeavors to establish Hermeus as an industry leader.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting G&A, business, and/or operations roles.
• Experience recruiting in the aerospace, defense, or space sectors is preferred. Experience in other fast-paced, high-growth environments is also welcome.
• Strong competitive market awareness, including an understanding of the hiring landscape for SG&A and Operations talent.
• Experience with sourcing tools (not just LinkedIn Recruiter) and a drive to innovate so Hermeus stands out in how we attract candidates.
• Experience with Lever (ATS) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to recruit world-class talent in any function while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
• Ability to build strong relationships with passive candidates, whether they're accountants, people ops professionals, or operations leaders.

The range listed for this role is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including role scope and responsibilities, relevant experience, education and training, key skills, market data, and business needs.
